Two friends, one vision – bring “Take-and-Bake” Pizza to our hometown - Richmond, VA.


And that’s what happened in 1994. Ned Sinnott and his former partner joined together and opened Superstars Pizza on Patterson Avenue. On a shoe-string budget and with lots of sweat, determination and hustle, Superstars began making pies, slices, subs, salads and homemade desserts – the rest is history. Here we are over 20 years later, doing the same exact things that the founders envisioned: Treat people well, exceed expectations, buy high quality meats, cheeses and the freshest produce, and dedicate ourselves to consistency so that our final product always tastes the same.

In 2001, we slid slightly eastward down the block to the end cap at the corner of Granite and Patterson Avenues. We’ve been here ever since and just this year, our long-standing General Manager, Taylor Antonelli, became a partner at Superstars! He oversaw our biggest renovation yet, as we retooled and freshened-up our dining area in September 2014. We still specialize in building really fresh, famously unique take-n-bake pies, pizzas by the slice, sub sandwiches, salads, dressings and desserts.


We’ve learned a lot over these past 20 years and really enjoy what we do each day; which hopefully makes someone else’s day much better with our great, fresh food or a warm and welcoming smile. We love being an integral part of the Richmond community and look forward to the next 20 years. We are open every day, so come on by and see us - anytime!
